The TPPPA Board of Directors recently met in College Station, and along with Mandadi, announced the following slate of officers: Chairman of the Board: H. Ray Smith, Biological Research Services, Inc., College Station, Texas; President: Mandadi; Vice President & Program Chairman: Clark Neely, Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service, College Station; Incoming VP & Poster Chairman: Pete Eure, Syngenta Crop Protection, Houston, Texas; Incoming VP-Elect: Josh McGinty, Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service, Corpus Christi, Texas; Executive Director: Bob Sasser, Texas Plant Protection Association, Conroe, Texas; Secretary: Tony Driver, Syngenta Crop Protection, Crawford, Texas.
New Board Members
The following were elected to the TPPA Board as new members: Jeffrey Ripley, Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service, College Station; David Kerns, Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Service, College Station; Ben Beyer, Advanta Seeds -North America, College Station; and Brad Locke, Simplot Grower Solutions, College Station.
The board selected Dec. 4-5, 2018 for the 30th Annual Texas Plant Protection Conference to be held in Bryan, Texas.
