I happened to stumble across your article on the Southwest Farm Press Web site. I have always been interested in going to Texas to hunt hogs, but I live in Colorado and can't afford to pay for the $100-$1,400 hunts that I see advertised all the time. I was wondering if you know of any landowners that would be interested in letting me and possibly a couple of friends hunt hogs on their land for free. You might not be the right person to be sending this to, but hopefully you can help or at least point me in the right direction. I know they are a problem in a lot of your state and I would be willing to pay for the Texas hunting license if I could find a place that has hogs and doesn't charge an arm and leg to hunt them. I have heard of farmers paying people to hunt hogs on their land to help reduce the populations. Well, I would be willing to kill as many as possible for free if you know of any opportunities like that. I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know about it. Thank you.
