Watch the video below to hear what Dr. Peter Dotray, professor and Extension lead specialist with Texas Tech University, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, and Texas AgriLife Extension Service, has to say about the successes and difficulties of the cotton new technologies.

While only 10 complaints were filed in Texas in 2017 against the new cotton technologies, such as auxin-tolerant XtendFlex and Enlist, with new formulations of dicamba and 2,4-D, Dr. Peter Dotray, professor and Extension lead specialist with Texas Tech University, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, and Texas AgriLife Extension Service, urges growers to continue to practice strict stewardship.

View the above video to hear what Dotray has to say about the new technologies and about using products such as dicamba and 2,4-D as part of a system rather than relying solely on the products themselves.
