‘Sweet spot’ for the combine

Corn and soybean farmers typically try to keep their grain losses to a minimum – no more than a few bushels per acre. But a few bushels per acre means a lot more monetarily these days than it used it. Mark Hanna, harvesting expert with Iowa State University, gave some pointers on how to minimize those losses out the combine in a presentation at ISU’s Integrated Crop Management Conference.
