Conference updates grain and cattle markets, land values, farm finance, economy and technology

The annual Oklahoma State University Rural Economic Outlook Conference always features timely information to help Southwest farmers and ranchers make important production decisions for the coming year.

Held the last Friday in October, the conference is early enough to allow producers time to review budgets, analyze farm programs and consider finances for the next crop year. The latest edition, held Oct. 30 in Stillwater, included updates on grain and cattle markets, land values, farm finance, the state of the economy and a look at how technology will change society.

This photo gallery shows some of this year’s speakers and attendees.
