The NRM scholarships are awarded to students who conduct outstanding rice promotional programs during the month of September. The promotions are judged on creativity and their impact in promoting rice.
Three scholarship prizes totaling $8,500 will be awarded. The grand prize is a $4,000 scholarship and a trip for the winner and a chaperone to attend the scholarship presentation on Dec. 10, at the USA Rice Outlook Conference in New Orleans, LA. The second place winner will receive $3,000 and the third place winner will receive $1,500.
Winners will be notified by Nov. 10. For more details, visit the USA Rice Federation NRM Scholarship Web Page.
