Wandering around in the West

If visiting Yellowstone National Park is not on your bucket list, it might be a good idea to add it. The park offers some of the most spectacular sights imaginable—from the raw power of geysers and crashing waterfalls to the wonder of hundreds of  buffalo (bison) grazing peacefully in a meadow, to towering peaks ablaze in color at sunset, to the curious shenanigans of tiny chipmunks—it’s a place of unimaginable splendor.  Around every curve lies another breathtaking view, another massive animal, another river that sparkles in the late summer sunlight.

The few photographs posted here can’t begin to capture the glory of Yellowstone, eastern Montana and a bit of Idaho farmland but is only a small representation of the marvels of nature.  If you ever have the opportunity to visit this part of America, please do. It’s worth the effort.
