New Vermeer baler cuts field time

Vermeer has announced the introduction of significant releases in the baler and bale processing areas.

The new Rebel 5500, second in the Vermeer Rebel Series, follows one of the most successful new product launches ever by Vermeer (the Rebel 5400). Its super-sized 65 inch bale gives producers a unique bale size that helps them reduce the number of bales, twine, plus the amount of field time (starts and stops) needed to harvest hay — with a hitch'n go baler that doesn't send them into sticker shock when pricing among larger sized balers.

The new BP7000 Bale Processor, recently introduced by Vermeer, decreases chore time, increases palatability by blowing away mold, dust and mildew, and reduces stress, hay losses and potential manure-handling problems that typically occur when using ring-style feeding systems.
